Do you use the phrase 'F-Bomb' to describe a certain 4-letter word?

As in, 'He was so mad that he was yelling and dropping F-Bombs all over the place!' ... I have been hearing this term a lot lately from people and just now I read it in a news article. I think it's kind of funny!
