'White guilt refers to feelings of guilt said to be experienced by some people of European descent when they consider present or past wrongs committed by their ancestors against natives of conquered and colonised lands' (Wikipedia article: 'White Guilt'). I have known several people--not of European descent--who believe that people of European descent deserve to feel guilt for the wrongs their forebears committed.
