Should high school dropouts be allowed to have driver's licenses?

If Des Moines school board member Marc Ward has his way, students who drop out of school will lose their driving privileges. Ward, the board's policy committee chair, has for months listened to arguments against revoking the driver's licenses of students who drop out of school. But he's still pushing the issue, which the entire board might address later this month.
