I'm fascinated by synesthesia and I began explaining to my mum a book I had read about it and she told me that SHE had it. I spent the best part of an hour discussing it with her: we went right through her alphabet and numbers and all the colours she sees with them and what colour certain words are. It's just normal to her and most synesthetes think that everyone sees letters and words with colours or sounds with taste.
