ABC might still go ahead with the planned Holocaust miniseries that it dumped earlier this month in light of actor Mel Gibson's anti-Semitic remarks. The series, based on the memoir of Dutch Jew Flory Van Beek, was originally helmed by Gibson's production company, Icon, but ABC abandoned the project amidst the media storm that surrounded Gibson's controversial comments made during a July 6 arrest for drunk driving. But ABC is still interested in the miniseries and might give it the green-light under another production company, TV Guide reports.
