Peterson trial venue change opposed Monday, May 10, 2004 Posted: 5:42 PM EDT (2142 GMT) REDWOOD CITY, California (AP) -- Juror bias in Scott Peterson's double-murder trial could be found anywhere in California, so moving the trial again would be pointless, prosecutors said Monday. Defense attorney Mark Geragos wants the case moved to Los Angeles, where he practices law and where he says media saturation has not been so intense. Geragos claims an impartial jury cannot be seated in Northern California.
