Do you think multinational corporations are engines of modernization or agents of imperalism?

Proponents of the Engines argument suggest: - MNCs significantly contribue to a host country's economic modernization. - MNCs accelerate economic growth in India and foster peace in South Asia. - MNCs are forces of global integration. Proponents of the imperialism argument suggest: - MNCs benefit their home country far more than the host country - MNCs pollute and degrade the environment of host countries.
