Which method of finding a spouse is better: Dating or Prearranged Marriage?

We're so silly and thoughtless with who we date and where we invest ourselves emotionally. The things that attract us to our mates is hardly things that are good for us. Wouldn't we be better off letting the people who care about us the most and know us the best pick for us?
