(AP) - Uglydolls have wide-open eyes (and some have three or just one), curiously bent appendages and little teeth or tongues pointing up or down from straight black mouths sewn from thick thread. But in spite of all that, a growing number of toy buyers think ugly is the new cute... World of Mirth, an independent toy store in Richmond, and other specialty shops worldwide are seeing customers snap up the 12-inch to 16-inch-tall Uglydolls, which each sell for $30 or less...
