Which is more exciting: seeing a long-awaited movie, or the hype leading up to the release of that movie?

Take Lord of the Rings as an example - the excitement starts months before the movie is released. There are books and magazines, free CD-ROMs in newspapers... And then there's the movie. Personally I love the hype, I love all the excitement and I think I almost prefer that to the actual movie!
