Is it blasphemous for Christians to aspire to be like Jesus if Jesus truly is the same as God?

Lucifer, aka Satan, was an angel who wanted to be God and was kicked out of Heaven. Should mortal human have the audacity to aspire to be like God? If Jesus and God were the same, how can Christians aspire to be like Jesus, then, without being blasphemous?
