Do you think it's fair that women are expected to take primary care of their children and the housework as well as work outside the home?

It seems like women who choose one or the other are looked down upon in today's society. If the work a lot they are selfish and too driven, or they are seen as lazy or 'out-dated' if they choose not to work outside the home.
