I have mixed feelings about reincarnation. I'm an agnostic, so don't really believe in heaven and hell, although these are possibilities. Part of me doesn't want to lose my individuality after death - to dissolve into nothingness, or to become one with all. Another part of me realizes that I've got it better than many people in the world, and that if I reincarnate, it could be to a very unpleasant situation - in the middle of a war in a refugee camp, in an area of drought and starvation, in a culture that disparages whatever I am (a woman, an untouchable, a whatever). Or, I could reincarnate into a wonderful situation. I’m not sure if I would like reincarnation to be true or not.
