Plato's theory was the Atlantis was near the island of Crete. Then again The Bimini Road is a formation near North Bimini Island in the Bahamas. Discovered in 1968, it is generally assumed to be of natural origins. Some have claimed that the formation is an ancient road, or perhaps a collapsed wall of the mythical civilization of Atlantis. Supporters of the Atlantis theory claim that the stone formation is too unusual to have been naturally formed.
