October 22, 2004 — Samuel Tilley admits he was going fast -- but not that fast. State police in Minnesota ticketed him for doing 205 miles-an-hour on his Honda motorcycle. Tilley tells Midwest Quick Throttle Magazine there's no way he was going that fast. He says another rider near him was ticketed for doing 111. Many gearheads doubt the 2002 Honda R-C-51 can do anywhere near 200 miles-an-hour. Tilley says his bike was tested by a dealer and topped out at just under 160. Someday Tilley may be able to go fast legally. He says he's thinking of training for one of the novice race circuits.
