Is there a cartoon/fictional character that frightened you as a child that still haunts you as an adult?

As a child I was taken to the cinema to see Sleeping Beauty. The wicked witch absolutely terrified me and I had to be taken out of the cinema as I cried so much. I still can't look at a picture of her without feeling uncomfortable.
