If the area you live in consistently votes in favor of one political party and you are a member of the other, would you vote at all?

Example: I lived in Oklahoma for a long time. Oklahoma never, ever fails to vote Republican. Being a democrat, I would be hesitant to vote in Oklahoma because I'd be outnumbered to the point where my vote didn't matter one bit.
