Not as a Race A is better than Race B situation, however. A reason that was stated was that the child from this marriage would suffer. (i.e., when a white mother goes to pick up a black child at school, the other kids will notice this and make fun of the child) I think this is ridiculous and extremely arrogant to say, but I don't know if it would be racist.
