Michael Jackson accused Sony Records head Tommy Mottola of being 'the devil' at a fanclub gathering in London recently, it has emerged. In his ongoing dispute with the label, more details have emerged about 'The King of Pop''s highly-publicised rant earlier this month. According to, Jackson told over 2,000 fans at the Equinox nightclub that Mottola was 'very evil' and had been spying on his ex-wife, Mariah Carey. 'Mariah Carey, after divorcing Tommy, came to me crying. Crying. She was crying so badly I had to hold her,' Jackson claimed. 'She said to me 'this is an evil man, and Michael, this man follows me'. He taps her phones and he's very, very evil. She doesn't trust him,' he continued. Jackson concluded: 'We have to continue our drive until he is terminated. We can't allow him to do this to great artists, we just can't.'
