Two Mexicans installed the carpeting in my bedroom today. My mom was looking for a new landscaper and she was thinking about asking the men if they had any friends who were looking for work. My dad and I both thought that would be too insulting to ask, so she didn't. Her rationale was that she would be willing to pay the workers $20/hour, which is more that what they would be paid if working for a landscaping business, so therefore, she would be helping them out.
