Should they change car models less frequently?

It really irks me that they come out with a new model every year, and barely give you the chance to buy the model you like brand new. Although I'll probably be more of a used car purchaser, when I would get the money to buy a new car, it'd be just my luck for the model I like to have gone astray. For instance, I used to really like the Toyota Tundras. But ever since the 2004 models, I can't stand them. I think that they should only work on improving a car, not changing around the body.
