Should it be illegal for companies to put expiration dates on gift cards?

Madison - Nearly two-thirds of Wisconsin legislators back a bill that would make it illegal to sell gift cards or gift certificates with fees or expiration dates. The chief sponsor of the change, Rep. Peggy Krusick, said Wisconsin would be the eighth state - including Iowa - to pass a law regulating the increasingly popular gift cards.
