If you were to be arrested, would you know and understand your rights without having to be told?

I'm not familiar with these rights in other countries, but in the U.S. they are known as Miranda rights after a Supreme Court Case. How strictly officers must be bound to notifying arrestees of their rights has been a significant source of debate.
