It is theorized that cultures, such as the Ancient Japanese and Greeks, were in favor of male gay relations because they felt that females were inferior, and men should spend their time and affection on their equals. Assuming this is the case, do you think these cultures are more progressive because of their views on homosexuality, or more regressive because of their views on women?
