Patients Seek Internet Rx Fri Nov 8,11:52 PM ET FRIDAY, Nov. 8 (HealthScoutNews) -- People seeking information about medical procedures are more than twice as likely to get it from the Internet as they are from their doctors, says a survey by the American Academy of Dermatology. The telephone survey of 800 adult men and women revealed that 67% of them consider the Internet their preferred source of information about medical procedures. Only 33% said they consult their doctor for such information....
