Do you think the current 'rolling' hunger strike being done in Hollywood is a pointless idea?

Basically all these celebrities have joined Cindy Sheehan in a hunger strike. But each person only goes without food for 24 hours, then the strike 'rolls' to the next person. Is it really a hunger strike if they aren't all doing it together?
