Would you rather travel the world and make absolutely no friends, or stay in at home for the rest of your life with your friends and family?
I am not saying that if you DO ever travel in real life that you don't make friends. It's a hypothetical situation.
As for staying home, of course you get to travel around your hometown, but no where else.
