I got a job at Value Village (a huge thrift store) as a clothes sorter. I open up bags and decide what goes on the sale floor and what doesn't. We constantly find garbage (for example icecream cones, half eaten tv dinners, empty cans that haven't been rinsed out, a bloody fox head and so on) in with the clothes and then all we can do is throw out the clothes that could of gone to the people who really need them. I wonder why people do this.
