Is it a bigger deal when kids die than when adults do?

If you say yes, then will you agree that the tragedy that occured on the same day the Austronauts died on re-entry (tragedy = 7 students in BC died on a field trip in an avalanche) should of been aired just as much or maybe instead? Not saying I don't feel bad for the austronauts, I do. It's sad. But I mean what about the students? I think it's worse when kids die because they didn't even have a chance to do anything with their lives, really.
