Were you ever able to take a TOK class in high school?

TOK=Theory of Knowledge. It's basically a philosophical class that discusses what knowledge actually is and the fact that we can't really "know" anything, and other things like that. Unfortunately for me, at my high school you have to be a full IB diploma candidate to take it, and I'm only going for an IB certificate. I really want to take the class though, it seems really interesting.
