Alcohol without liquid is a new way for bar flies to get their booze. It's now available in some parts of the country, and it is causing some controversy. Imagine walking into a bar and instead of patrons holding their drink, they are standing around a machine inhaling from what looks like a pipe. Alcohol without liquor, also known as AWOL, popped up in New York City after first being released in Europe and Asia. The marketers behind AWOL said it provides the buzz of alcohol without some of the common side effects. The device has two parts -- an oxygen generator and a hand-held vaporizer. The oxygen mixes with the alcohol, producing a mist which is inhaled. It takes about 20 minutes to inhale one shot of alcohol. AWOL's promoters said it is low calorie and it cuts down on hangovers...
