Do you think Wall-E was an accurate prediction on what the Human Race is coming to?

In the Pixar movie Wall-E, Earth has become so badly polluted in many ways, that humans had to leave the planet and travel through space. They rely on machines and computers for everything, and become fat and stupid. Sounds pretty accurate to me. What do you think?
