It's a rigorous 2-year program of high school that first originated in Europe, but quickly moved to America. There are lots of IB schools here in Northern Virginia, including mine. I'm probably going to go for the Full IB Diploma, which requires 6 college-level courses, 150 hours of community service, a 4000-word extended essay, a Theory of Knowledge class, and a combined score of 24 on IB exams.
