Will the shopping tradition of 'Black Friday' eventually be moved up to the weekend after Halloween?

'Black Friday' is a day when major U.S. retailers have lots of sales to attract Christmas shoppers and kick-off the shopping season. This year (and for many years preceeding it) retailers have begun their Christmas prep extra early, with Christmas and Halloween decorations going up at the same time (Late September).
