If the technology soon existed for a female to reproduce by herself, would it be unethical for her to do so?

Scientists have found a combination of chemicals that could possibly be used in place of human male sperm. Doctors at the Institute for Reproductive medicine and Genetics in Los Angeles recently found a way for eggs of female mice to reproduce their own chromosomes. Similarities between mice and human eggs may mean one day women can have babies without the sperm of a man.
