That is, is 'drat' really an appropriate word to filter 'f*ck' with? I don't think it is--it just seems like such a random choice of words. 'Fudge' and 'frick' are commonly accepted euphemisms for 'f*ck,' but 'drat' is really just an all-purpose mild expletive. It doesn't apply to any obscenity in particular.
