Are hospital administrators to blame for the MRSA outbreak in British hospitals, or are the government?

Corporate manslaughter could be the government's latest weapon in the fight against the hospital superbug MRSA. Health Secretary John Reid is planning to introduce a bill which could lead to hospital bosses being charged if patients die through poor hygiene conditions. The Sunday Times says Mr Reid wants to close a loophole which says no-one is responsible for deaths from preventable hospital-acquired infections.
