The Caucasian host of a Chinese cooking show whose program is billed GWAI LO cooking, the Cantonese equivalent of 'foreign devil' can keep the name according to the the Canadian Broadcasting Standards Council. The show was on CFMT-TV, Toronto's multicultural channel, where it received a complaint from a veiwer who felt the name discriminated against non-Asians because, 'in Chinese, this expression isn't too far removed from other racist English expressions.'
