When news reporters get too close to the scene, should they be fined for the taxpayer dollars and time used to rescue them?

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - A reporter and a cameraman were pulled to safety by a firefighter when their news van was engulfed in flames as they covered the wildfire in Lake Arrowhead, northeast of Los Angeles. Both veteran reporter Chuck Henry and cameraman Christopher Li, who work for NBC-owned KNBC, escaped injury. The van apparently was destroyed. The drama occurred around 3 p.m. as they were reporting from the Skyforest fire scene. Henry had been attempting to move the van away from encroaching flames. The van stalled, apparently because of the thick smoke. Henry went live on air immediately after the drama to deliver a highly emotional account of his narrow escape and credited the fireman with saving his life...
