The bible and the Harry Potter series are very similar. They both have main male characters who should have died but didn't (well, okay, Jesus did but was resurrected). They both tackle moral issues such as citizenship and racism. They both have 'judas' characters. They both feature 'magic' (please note that is a broad term for miracles and spells), both feature transformation and things we scientifically know to be impossible. Both are very very popular across the world. If something were to happen that ensured in 2000 years the population discovered the Harry Potter books and didn't know them to be fiction, is it possible that they would be taken the same way as the bible? For example people would learn moral lessons from them, read about good vs evil, maybe even Harry would be worshipped the same way as Jesus is today.
