Should this family win their lawsuit against The Learning Channel?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A La Plata, Md., couple is upset that a videotape showing their son's dead body was broadcast without their knowledge and they're suing The Learning Channel and medical examiners in Tennessee. The dead body of Cheryl and Francis Reidy's 21-year-old son, Francis Reidy III, was shown this spring on the cable documentary True Stories from the Morgue. He was never named in the show, but his family and friends recognized his tattoos. Reidy's parents did not find out about the episode until after it aired in May. Their lawsuit was filed in Nashville and alleges violation of privacy, emotional damage and negligence. It also names the parent company of The Learning Channel, Silver Spring-based Discovery Communications, and a London-based production company. The lawsuit is at least the third brought by relatives of people whose autopsies were featured on the show -- which was canceled in July...
