COLUMBUS, Ohio (Reuters) - Children reported for school under police guard on Wednesday in an Ohio school district as investigators pressed their search for clues to a string of 12 shootings police believe are linked. Hamilton Central Elementary School was shot at on Nov. 11, though it happened in the middle of the night when no children or employees were at the school. But investigators disclosed Tuesday that the bullet found at the school was fired from the same gun as one that killed a 62-year-old woman while she was riding in a car on Interstate 270 on Nov. 25. The shootings have occurred along a stretch of the highway that circles the outer reaches of Columbus. The first shooting was in May, but most were reported in the past two months. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said it has also confirmed that bullet fragments in two other cases match the same gun and it is operating on the assumption that all 12 cases are linked...
