It has finally happened. Double-wide mobile homes, those symbols of inexpensive Florida retirement, have crossed the $200,000 threshold in Pasco County. Indiana retiree Bryan Toll plunked down $215,000 in July for a 4-year-old, 1,800-square-foot double-wide on a golf course at Betmar Village Mobile Home Park near Zephyrhills.
