Bonhoeffer was a German university professor who was involved in a plot to assassinate Hitler. The assassination attempt failed and Bonhoeffer was thrown in a concentration camp where he was eventually hanged. But he wrote a book commonly called Bonhoeffer Ethics in which the ethics behind the attack are kind of explained. Even though that's not the topic of the book. You can kinda see what the guy is thinking. It's interesting to read about the ethics that can turn a mild mannered university professor into an assassin trying to kill the ruler of his own country.
