Is there someone that you call a family member that is not related to you?

For example...calling an old friend of the family 'uncle'. Or having a friend that is close to you and you feel is a sibling so you call them your 'brother/sister.' I do that with one of my friends...I always refer to him as my older brother and sometimes forget that he's not.
