If a person has been convicted of a DUI, should they have a special designation on their driver's license saying so?

A state lawmaker wants anyone with a drunken-driving conviction to have it noted on their driver's license. Rep. Scott Inman (D), said the measure would reduce the number of alcohol-related deaths by putting bars and nightclubs on notice that the person has a history of drinking and driving while intoxicated.
