I am undecided about whether dollar stores are worth it. This is based on my previous experiences with buying items that broke easily. It could also be that I am just not near one and find that using coupons with sales is more cost effective. For instance a bottle of aspirin is 99¢, over $2 less than the name brand and it has the same ingredients as well. Why stop off at a dollar store when you can get decent deals if you by generic, use coupons or wait for clearances?
