Some shopkeepers in New York are banning the popular 'wheelie sneakers' over fears that they may cause accidents or injure shoppers. The shoes, called Heelys, have wheels in the heel and have been growing in popularity in the United States. Heelys have been around for a few years, but their popularity is only growing among young kids and pre-teens. Store owners, especially at malls, said they don't want to risk people getting injured or accidents, so they've decided to ban the shoes.
