CBS President Defends Hitler Miniseries Jan 13, 7:43 PM ET, By Steve Gorman HOLLYWOOD (Reuters) - CBS chief Leslie Moonves vowed on Monday that no one who sees the network's miniseries this spring about a young Adolf Hitler will come away feeling warm and fuzzy about one of history's most destructive men -- even if Stockard Channing plays the Fuehrer's mom. Moonves, speaking at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour, said CBS is taking numerous steps to ensure that viewers of the controversial show, tentatively titled 'Hitler: Origins of Evil,' are not left with the wrong impression. Coming under fire for a production many Jewish leaders have said could 'humanize' Hitler,' Moonves said CBS has hired historians and religious leaders as consultants and plans to air public service messages promoting tolerance in conjunction with the miniseries...
