I once absolutely flamed at a lady at my register when I worked retail, because I'd caught her lecturing her son vehemently about how bad, evil, and hell-bound people who read a novelty book for the gay and lesbian market were. Seriously, just for reading it. Religious beliefs are one thing, but this lady was promoting active hatred - this woman was ranting about how gay people should be"dealt with." I don't normally flame, but the look on this lady's face was priceless.
